Privacy Policy

Information we collect
No accounts, no cookies, no advertising, and nothing sold or shared — ever. I do count page views, so I can tell whether anyone is actually reading these briefings. That count is anonymous and cookie-free: it tells me a page was opened, not who opened it. Cloudflare keeps ordinary request information such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested, for delivery and to filter out hostile traffic, and only for as long as it's useful.
Google API usage
This site's operator uses Google APIs (Gmail and Google Drive) to automate delivery of a personal newsletter. Access is limited to the scopes required for that automation (gmail.send, drive) and is used solely to send the newsletter to the account owner and read the briefing document that feeds it. No data is shared with third parties.
Hosting & third-party services
Pages are served through Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site and handles every connection. Cloudflare processes ordinary request information — IP address, browser type, the page requested — both to deliver pages and to keep bad traffic away, under its own privacy policy. The site's source and build live on GitHub; GitHub no longer serves the public pages, and it does not see who visits.
